Description:
We have an immediate opening available for an Operations Clerk in our Vancouver office located at 10299 Grace Road, Surrey, BC.
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and allot time effectively
- Computer literate
- General knowledge of transportation / freight industry is an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptionally motivated
Responsibilities
- Call logging
- Set up shipments in computer system for customs clearance
- Communicate and follow up with brokerage community
- Bill shipments
- Trace shipments
- Provide POD's and BOL's for customers
- Aid in facilitating delivery of freight from pickup to destination
- Perform other related duties as requested with fast/accurate data entry skills
- Provide customer services to internal and external customers
