Tli Cho Landtran holds a Certificate of Recognition (COR™) - an occupational health and safety program accreditation for industry employers aimed at reducing the human and financial costs associated with workplace accidents and injuries. COR™ is the highest distinction available to contractors; verifying a fully implemented and effective safety & health program that meets the national standards.
COR™ is rapidly becoming the key criteria in the legislated requirement to evaluate, select and monitor contractors - used as a pre-qualification requirement for contractors working in and out of province. COR™ is the highest distinction available to contractors; verifying a fully implemented and effective safety & health program that meets the national standards.
The steps to achieving COR™ Certification include:
- Completion of 4 training modules
- Completion of a company safety manual
- Implementation of a company safety program
- Audit by company (generally 3-6 months after the safety program implementation)
- NCSA Audit
- External Audit
